With many students taking an interest in fashion, the printing press allows for them to learn about the process that goes behind some of their favourite graphic-based garments. The 4 head press and screens, along with the flash oven and plastisol ink, is almost everything students will need to bring their ideas to fruition on their favourite t-shirts and hoodies. JLHS students also design their own uniform shirts!
Our community partner, THE LETTER BET PRESS, helps us print out the stencils & burn them on the screens so that our students can put together their own creations inside the school. THE LETTER BET PRESS also sends over their master printer, Kevin Nombrado, to help teach the students basic techniques so they can execute their vision and get the best results without waste.
